Within this article we will be going over the steps you will need to take to activate your Open Licensing Product Keys with Office 365. After you have placed your Purchase Order, you will receive an email containing Product Key’s for your Licenses.
To begin, you will want to sign into your Office 365 account. Open a web browser and navigate to portal.microsoftonline.com. Sign in using your Office 365 Global Administrator account.
Next, to active your licenses, you will need to open a new tab within your web browser and then navigate to https://portal.microsoftonline.com/Commerce/ProductKeyStart.aspx. Click the check box next to “I Understand. I’m the right person to be doing this for my organization” and click Next.
You will be asked to enter your product keys that you received, if you have multiple key’s press “Add another Product Key”. Once you have entered all of your Product Keys, click Next.
You will now be asked to review the information that you have entered, click “Done adding Product Keys”. From here, you can go back to your Office 365 Tenant, and then navigate to the Licensing section to verify that your Licenses have been added.
