The company, who values themselves at 10 billion dollars, has enlisted Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan to handle the stock exchange listing. The company claims this is the next step forward with revenues at over 1 billion dollars.
Research at KeyBanc reported that Amazon Web Services had 62% of the cloud market last year, followed by Microsoft Corp. at 20%. AWS lost a small amount of share last year, but its lead is still insurmountable for the foreseeable future. The news could hardly be better for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his company’s shareholders.
