This week on Cloud News Review
Office 365 members are getting a huge security update among other things. Users of Outlook by Microsoft’s Office 365 have recently gotten an update that includes increased security measures, increased mailbox storage for e-mails, and is now completely ad free for subscribers.
Amazon Web Services is dominating right now. According to Tech Crunch, AWS pulled in 4.57 Billion dollars in revenue this past quarter. Google’s G Suite and Microsoft are growing at a faster pace, but they will have to move faster in order to catch up to the commanding lead that Amazon has over them.
Don’t feel too bad for Microsoft though. Their annualized revenue run rate exceeded 20 billion dollars, showing investors and possible clients that business is in fact booming. This is a huge milestone for Microsoft’s cloud services such as the Azure cloud computing service, Office 365 workplace software, and Dynamics 365 database.
Business Matters has posted an article about How you should choose a cloud service. There are many factors to go about doing this. It’s a good thing we at Iron Cove Solutions are able to answer all those questions and more to make that decision easier.
