MIcrosoft has announced that previews for the 2019 version of Office will be up and running. The company will preview advanced versions of already existing apps such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. The new software will be so advanced that only users that have the OS Window 10 will be able to utilize.
Cisco’s Global Cloud Index reports that 95% of total data center traffic will be cloud related by 2021. The prior years the total number of cloud traffic was 88%. In order to fulfill the rising need for data center and cloud resources, as many as 628 hyperscale data centers will be built globally by 2021, up from 338 in 2016.
Google announced that it has a number of tools designated to help developers improve with Apps Script, a java based program used for implementing add ons to GSuite applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Google says that the new tools are the result of the company “redoubl[ing] our efforts to improve [Apps Script’s] power, reliability and operational monitoring”
Amazon’s stock price has increased 23.4% YTD according to an Investopia report. The report says that the dominance is due to it being the leader in the cloud service industry with its Amazon Web Services platform. AWS total reach up more than 17 billion dollars making it the 5th largest business software in the world.
