Users all across the UK and Europe were experiencing an outage of Office 365 and Outlook. Users reported that they experienced three issues, flagging problems with Outlook, server connection issues, and struggling to get Exchange Online up. Around midday, Microsoft said they had fixed the problem and everything should be up and running as of now.
Google’s cloud service G Suite is being used by educators around the world with their G Suite for Education line. Educators say that Google Docs allows them to make stories and “create your own adventure” series, while others say Google Keep, which is essentially sticky notes, keeps them organized with everything in their classroom.
Amazon’s share price increase now doubles that of Wal-Mart’s. Wal-Mart’s shares went up over 13% while Amazon’s went up by 32% over that same period. 24/7 Wall St. claims this is due to the fact of Amazon Web Services. Seems that Amazon was already a giant, but having their immense cloud services gave them a nice boost.
Digital Trends has a great study that pits Google Drive against Dropbox to see which is the best cloud storage program. The article goes into details of each service in the form of rounds like free storage, file sharing and more. I won’t give away who the winner is, you’ll just have to read and find out.
