According to the HindustanTimes, a new wave of malware hit the waves in the form of “Locky Ransomware” Locky Ransomware is a type of malicious software that demands a ransom through bitcoin to return whatever is infected. This new spam sends an email telling the user to open up a Dropbox file in their account in which gives the malware access to their files, having something like Proofpoint Essentials will give protection to a threat such as this.
This past week, Okta held their annual Oktane17 conference at the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event included keynote speakers like celebrity entrepreneurs Chris Hardwick and Rainn Wilson. It also included speeches from Okta co-founder and CEO Todd McKinnon about the future of the company. Microsoft Office 365 has shaped their product to meet more of the demands for SMB’s. Office 365‘s two plans, Office 365 Business goes on the smaller scale and promotes employee-to-employee team collaboration. The other plan, Office 365 Enterprise, offers more of a grand scale which promotes team and organization-wide collaboration.
With the rise of cloud tech in India, Amazon announced they are looking to hire more than 1000 techies. India is Amazon’s second largest workforce for the company behind the United States. With the new addition of cloud services being provided for the country, the job demand will be increasing.
