Within this article we will be going over the steps of how to create a new Outlook Profile within Windows 7 or Windows 8. Before we can begin, you will need to download Office 2013 to your computer.
Essentially, creating a new Outlook Profile is the same within Windows 7 and Windows 8. You will first want to navigate to your Control Panel.
For Windows 7 you will need to click on Start and then click on Control Panel.
For Windows 8, you will want to press the Windows Key on your Keyboard and start typing “Control Panel” within the Windows Live Tiles screen.
Within the Control Panel, you will want to click on Search. Within the Search bar type Mail. If you have already downloaded Office 2013, you will see Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2013). Click on Mail.
The Mail Setup – Outlook Window will appear. Click on Show Profiles, the Mail Window will appear. From here, you will want to add another Profile for Outlook to use. Click on Add, you will be asked to enter a Name for the profile that you are creating. Click Ok, to create the profile.
From here, you will be asked to enter the information for your email account. If you are using an Office 365 account, enter your Office 365 Email Address and your Password. Your Office 365 Exchange Account will automatically detect your settings and begin configuring itself.
Once your account have been successfully configured, you can select whether Outlook should prompt you on which Profile to use or configure your New Profile to be the new Default Profile that Outlook should use.
